More About DR WILLIE E. MCKAY

Entrepreneur|Philanthropist

Dr. W.E. McKay (born May 05)

The body of Christ received a gift from God when Rev. Dr. Willie E. McKay was born. He was raised in a middle-class family raised by his grandmother from birth, with several influences from his grandfather Bishop Henry McKay, Sr., who was one of the first African American pastors to build a church from the ground in Connecticut with his own hands in 1959; therefore, it was by divine appointment that Dr. McKay followed in the footsteps of his grandfather at the age of 16.

Dr. McKay is an excellent public speaker, preacher, teacher, educator, and philanthropist, also known for his selfless views on life and for always wanting to give something back to the world. He is one of many great black philanthropists who have not made all he has done public. He is the most influential man in the lives of many who have crossed his path.

Dr. McKay was an active member at Joy Temple Church of Christ and prayer Inc., New Haven, CT, serving under the leadership of Bishop Dozier Shields for over 30 years and serving in capacities as Elder, Business Administrator, as well as a highly effective fundraiser appointee for large projects, in addition to serving from 1994-1996 under The Late Bishop Kenneth H. Moales and from 2017 to 2023 working with the Overseer Kenneth H. Moales Jr. in ministry. He was educated at Southern Connecticut State University, Hampton University, Christian Leadership Bible College, Carver Bible Institute, Greater New Haven Technical College, now known as Gateway Community College, Post University, and Connecticut Business Institute. (Nursing) and is currently studying criminal justice at Albertus Magnus College, New Haven, CT.

Having experienced considerable obstacles as he reached his young adult age, He has overcome them all with God's grace and mercies. Dr. McKay is a well-established entrepreneur, including gaining ownership of several businesses and partnerships at the prime age of 21, since starting his ministry at New Dimension Tabernacle on March 21, 2005, and has seen through his preaching & teaching ministry the anointing of God touch many lives.

New Dimension Project 501c(3) non-profit, which Dr. McKay has been the director of for over 19 years, has reached the lives of many to date. It is credited with creating a more diverse approach to making it possible for most emerging artists and entertainers to have a platform to showcase their gifts and talents.

Dr. McKay has worked diligently and donated to help and support several other charities, organizations, groups, and churches, not passing judgment on people's life choices but offering words of encouragement and guidance to make it through and become a better you.

His personal motto is

"If I Can Help Somebody As I Travel This Road, Then My Living Shall Not Be In Vain," & Church Motto is "God Can Change Anybody."
